Trump unveils 'official watch collection' amid controversy
Donald Trump has launched a diamond-encrusted watch collection, part of numerous branded products promoted during his 2024 presidential campaign.

Following a pattern established throughout his political journey, Donald Trump now ventures into the realm of diamond-encrusted watches with the launch of the “Official Trump Watch Collection,” which debuted on Thursday. The collection features two notable models, with the priciest version adorned with 122 diamonds on its bezel and available in three luxurious 18-karat gold styles, carrying a hefty price tag of $100,000. Another model, dubbed “Fight Fight Fight,” is priced at $499. Trump has been known to promote a range of branded products amidst his political pursuits, and this latest endeavor comes just 40 days before the Election Day.
Blurring Lines between Business and Politics
This recent product launch echoes Trump’s longstanding practice of intertwining his business ventures with his political aspirations. Despite disclaimers on sales websites clarifying that proceeds from these products do not directly benefit Trump or his campaign, they are associated with a “paid license agreement.” This mechanism has allowed Trump to profit from various product sales, even before entering the political arena, with a diverse range of goods including water, vodka, and steaks.
Notably, this announcement coincides with Trump’s ongoing efforts to sell a series of branded products since launching his 2024 White House campaign. For instance, earlier this week, he unveiled the sale of $100 silver coins bearing his likeness, in a move reminiscent of his previous endeavors to capitalize on his image and persona for commercial gains. This pattern of leveraging personal branding for profit underscores the blurred lines between Trump’s business and political interests.
Other Products in the Spotlight
The “Official Trump Watch Collection” is not the sole venture Trump has engaged in during his campaign. In a multi-faceted approach to product promotion, Trump has also ventured into the realm of religion with the introduction of a “God Bless the USA Bible,” inspired by country singer Lee Greenwood’s patriotic ballad. Priced at $59.99, the Bible was promoted through a video on Truth Social, urging supporters to make a purchase. Additionally, Trump has made waves in the sneaker market, unveiling new Trump-branded sneakers at “Sneaker Con.” These shiny gold high tops, featuring an American flag detail on the back, are marketed as “Never Surrender High-Tops” for $399. The sneakers were launched alongside a new website that also offers other Trump-branded shoes and “Victory47” cologne and perfume for $99 a bottle, showcasing the breadth of Trump’s foray into various product categories.
