On a tragic Saturday evening, two Ukrainian men, aged 23 and 36, were brutally stabbed to death in Murnau, Upper Bavaria, Germany, near a shopping center in the village of Garmisch-Partenkirchen. This shocking incident has left the local community in a state of disbelief and mourning.
Following the heinous act, German authorities swiftly apprehended a 57-year-old Russian man on suspicion of the murders. As per German news agency dpa, the suspect was taken into custody shortly after the killings. The names of the victims and the alleged perpetrator have been withheld in compliance with German privacy regulations.
At this time, the motive behind these distressing homicides remains unknown. Law enforcement officials have indicated that it is also uncertain whether the three individuals were acquainted with one another.
