Authorities have recently identified a set of skeletal remains found in a shallow grave in Florida back in 2007. The remains belong to Jeana Lynn Burrus, who was 39 years old at the time of her disappearance. Shockingly, Burrus was never reported missing, and her absence went unnoticed for 16 years until now. The discovery was made in the Ashton Court area of Sarasota, but the investigation hit a dead end until advancements in DNA testing and genetic genealogy led to a positive identification last month. Authorities are now seeking information regarding Burrus and her husband's whereabouts during that time.
