Significant Benefits and Raises Under the new contract, the typical employee will receive a raise of around 10 percent over the next three years. Additionally, these workers will now have access to the same benefits as their counterparts in non-union stores. This was a point of contention following the introduction of new benefits that excluded unionized stores in the fall of 2022. Furthermore, the contract guarantees severance pay for the workers.
