VP Harris campaigns in Pennsylvania to challenge Trump's popularity
Vice President Kamala Harris is campaigning in Pennsylvania's conservative areas to reduce Trump's support, emphasizing the importance of engaging with all voters.

On Friday, Vice President Kamala Harris intensified her campaign in the heart of Pennsylvanian conservatism, strategically targeting regions where former President Donald J. Trump maintained substantial support with the intention of diminishing his electoral margins. Her first stop was Johnstown, where she was accompanied by Senator John Fetterman. The senator has been advocating for the engagement of voters in Pennsylvania's rural areas, urging both President Biden's and now Ms. Harris's campaigns to extend their reach beyond the heavily Democratic Philadelphia and Pittsburgh regions.
Outreach and Engagement
During her visit to Johnstown, Ms. Harris made a point to connect with voters at a local cafe and bookstore. She expressed her optimism about Pennsylvania, stating, "I’m feeling very good about Pennsylvania because there are a lot of people in Pennsylvania who deserve to be seen and heard." Emphasizing her commitment to outreach, she added, "That’s why I’m here in Johnstown."
