Wisconsin Woman Sentenced to 25 Years in Prison for DUI Crash That Killed Five

Anteyona Sandifer was behind the wheel of a minivan in Milwaukee last May when she recklessly sped through a red light at an estimated 80 mph, causing a collision with another vehicle and a pole. The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed that Sandifer’s blood-alcohol content was 0.167, which is more than twice the legal limit for driving.

Sandifer pleaded guilty to five homicide charges related to the tragic deaths and had six other felony charges dropped in a plea deal. The victims included a 1-year-old girl, two 15-year-old girls, a 17-year-old boy, and a 32-year-old man.
