Authorities have revealed that a woman managed to free herself from a makeshift cell in a garage after being kidnapped by an individual impersonating a police officer. The suspect, Negasi Zuberi, allegedly abducted the victim in Seattle before transporting her across state lines to his rented residence in Oregon. Stephanie Shark, assistant special agent, praised the victim's quick thinking and bravery as she endured physical assault and confinement. Zuberi is now facing charges of interstate kidnapping and criminal sexual activity. Investigators urge potential victims to come forward if they suspect any encounter with the suspect.
