Authorities in North Carolina are reportedly investigating the death of Mica Miller, the 30-year-old wife of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Pastor John-Paul Miller. Her body was found on April 27 in the Lumber River State Park, and the cause of death is being investigated.

Mental Health Struggles

Pastor John-Paul mentioned that his wife had struggled with her mental health for years. He stated, "She had struggled with suicide before. Each time we would help her through it and take her to the doctor, and we got through it and everything was fine." He emphasized that she had battled suicide but had always been taken care of by God.

Obituary Controversy

Miller's obituary described her as "energetic, affirming, adventurous, faithful, loving, giving, forgiving, talented, joyous, creative, assertive, bold, determined, authoritative, passionate, hardworking, a risk taker, and so much more." However, there's been speculation about a particular section of the obituary where it is mentioned that she would praise her husband after every church service. This has raised questions among her loved ones.

The Horry County Clerk's Office confirmed that Mica Miller had filed three separate support and maintenance requests since last year, with the latest one filed on April 16. Separate support and maintenance allows one spouse to receive court-ordered support from another spouse without officially divorcing.

Call for Justice

Following Mica's death, her family and friends have been vocal on social media, using the hashtag "JusticeforMica." Her sister urged people not to believe false stories about Mica, describing her as a God-fearing, joyful, loving woman who did not deserve the abuse she endured.

One of Mica's friends, who had recent communication with her, expressed shock at the turn of events, mentioning their plans together just before the tragic incident occurred. The sudden change in circumstances between their last communication and Mica's passing has left many unanswered questions.
