Ohio Woman Pleads Guilty to Murder, Fabricated Home Invasion to Cover Up Crime
Bernie Moreno and J.D. Vance discuss Ohio's GOP Senate primary. Deborah Frazier pleads guilty to murder, tampering with evidence, and abuse of a corpse.

A Zanesville, Ohio woman, Deborah L. Frazier, has pleaded guilty to several crimes in a case that shocked the local community. The Muskingum County Prosecutor’s Office announced on Monday that Frazier admitted to committing murder with a firearm, tampering with evidence, and gross abuse of a corpse.
The Crime
On August 10, 2023, police responded to a call from Frazier claiming that she had been shot in the leg by two burglars as they were leaving her boyfriend's apartment. However, upon arriving at the scene, officers discovered the body of her boyfriend, Thomas Waddell, wrapped in a blanket and garbage bag secured with duct tape in a back room of his apartment. The investigation later revealed that Frazier's claims were false and the crime was of a much more heinous nature.
The Investigation
It was determined that Waddell had been killed more than 12 hours before Frazier made the 911 call. Furthermore, forensic searches of Frazier's internet browsing history revealed several incriminating searches related to loading and firing guns, pointing to premeditation.
The Relationship
Frazier and Waddell had been in an on-again, off-again relationship for years, and it was found that she deliberately orchestrated a series of events to cover up the murder, ultimately leading to her guilty plea.
Legal Proceedings
The prosecutor's office stated that Frazier's actions constituted a "purposeful killing" of Waddell with a firearm and an attempt to conceal the crime through the creation of false evidence and self-inflicted injury. Assistant Prosecuting Attorney John Litle affirmed that Frazier would serve a life sentence for her crimes.
