Cleveland Browns to Debut White Facemask on Helmets for 2024 Season

After nine years, the Cleveland Browns are making an exciting change to their iconic helmet, unveiling a new look for the upcoming season.

A Return to Tradition

For the past nine seasons, the team has sported a distinctive brown facemask, but now, in response to the clamoring of their loyal fans, the Browns have decided to bring back the classic white facemask that adorned their helmets from 1975 to 1995.

A History Revisited

Executive Vice President JW Johnson expressed the team's excitement, stating, "We heard our loyal fans and are thrilled to see the white facemask featured on the Browns' helmets beginning with the 2024 season and beyond as we continue to write the history of our franchise".

The decision to bring back the white facemask is a nod to the team's history and a way to connect with the passionate fan base that has been eagerly awaiting this change.

A Fresh Look

To showcase the new look, the Browns brought out running back Nick Chubb to model the updated helmet, symbolizing a return to a piece of the team's storied history.

Not only will the team be featuring the white facemask on their traditional orange helmets, but they have also unveiled an alternate white helmet that made an appearance in three games last year, a look they are likely to sport again for at least one game in 2024.
