Eyewitness Account

Sahir Muhammad, a 23-year-old graduate of Temple University, recounted the events, stating that the police initiated the arrests at around 6 a.m. He described being physically lifted and removed from the encampment as he was filming the incident. Muhammad further reported being relocated to 34th and Walnut streets, where he regrouped with other demonstrators in an attempt to impede the departure of police vehicles.
