AirLifted K9 Officer
On Friday, a K-9 unit with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department faced a dangerous situation. The Belgian Malinois named Enzo was airlifted to a trauma veterinary hospital after being stabbed multiple times by a suspect armed with a knife. Enzo, only 2 years old, had been deployed as a nonlethal option to apprehend the suspect, and was rushed to the hospital and later airlifted to a veterinary trauma hospital. Fortunately, he is now in stable condition and is expected to survive.
Recovering K9 Hero
Despite the harrowing experience, Enzo is showing signs of improvement. After undergoing surgery, he is receiving intensive care and treatment at the hospital. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is providing him with the tender loving care he needs, and expressed gratitude to the skilled veterinarians who are looking after Enzo.
Apprehended Suspect
The suspect responsible for the attack has been taken into custody and is currently being treated for self-inflicted stab wounds at a hospital. Although in critical but stable condition, he is now under the custody of the authorities.
