Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s Presidential Campaign Faces Social Media Censorship Controversy
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. emphasizes government and tech censorship in his presidential campaign, citing Facebook and Instagram's recent blocking of his ad.
Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s independent presidential campaign has been centered around his claims of censorship by the government, news media, and tech platforms. This past weekend, his allegations were underscored when Facebook and Instagram restricted access to a 30-minute promotional video backing his candidacy. The link remained blocked from late Friday afternoon until midday on Saturday. Meta, the parent company of both platforms, acknowledged the incident, labeling it as a mistake.
Andy Stone, a spokesperson for Meta, admitted that the link was erroneously flagged as spam and assured that the issue was rectified within a few hours once it was identified.

Tony Lyons, the founder of American Values 2024, the super PAC responsible for funding the advertisement, refrained from providing an immediate comment on the situation.
